Hello, Native smbfs for FreeBSD now supports version 3.4 of this OS (it may also run on 3.2 or 3.3, but definitely 'll crash on 3.1). Please note, that FreeBSD 3.4 doesn't contain src/sys/crypto directory which is required if you want to use encrypted passwords.
