It sounds new. :) > > Mike "Silby" Silbersack Since ACPI now works for me, I went ahead and upgraded my notebook's BIOS. Sure enough, it fixed that error above. Suspend is non-functional, but battery status and cpu throttling are working, so I'm happy. :) Does devd receive lid status events? I'm thinking that it would be advantageous for my battery life if I could throttle the cpu down whenever the lid is closed. Mike "Silby" Silbersack
