FreeBSD uses a filesystem type that Windows doesn't know how to read.
When you installed FreeBSD you probably overwrote a FAT filesystem there,
so it would appear as if the disk has 'disappeared' but in fact it is
still there.

That's usually a geometry problem, but Booteasy install instructions are
in the FAQ (http://www.freebsd.org/FAQ).
