I do not wish to bother everyone here, but I cannot seem to figure out what to do next. I have a Vaio XG38 with FreeBSD 4.2 installed, and have tried two different PCMCIA cards: Intel PRO/100 LAN+Modem CardBus PC Card II and 3Com Megahertz 10/100 CarbBus 3CCFE575BT Office Connect. When I plug either of them in I get the: pccardd[50]: No card in database for ""("") familiar error. I scanned the /etc/defaults/pccard.conf, and found similar card, the 572B, and tried the obvious modifications, and it didnt work. Where can I get an updated pccard.conf? Is this the only thing I need, or is there more? Can anyone tell me which 10/100 card (preferably with a modem) work with FreeBSD, and I will buy one of those instead? (if this doesnt work out). Any pointers would be appreciated. ===== -zeo zeo_bartoli at yahoo __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
