I had some trouble with a hard disk that I wanted to recover, because of a lot of important data. I found a utility named Easy Recovery Pro 6, by Ontrack, (www.ontrack.com) I think itīs $29.99 or something like that, but itīs worth it. I tested it on a very damaged hard disk and could read a lot of data. It doesnīt matter what OS the HDD has. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul English" <penglish@hydro.washington.edu> To: "Peter Elsner" <peter@servplex.com> Cc: <freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG> Sent: Monday, April 28, 2003 6:37 PM Subject: Re: disk hard error - help! > > Thanks Peter - it didn't work, but thanks for the help. > > Paul > > > > You might try a mount -f /dev/ad1s1e /mnt > > > > That forces the mount no matter what...
