Use the alias option on ifconfig.
If the virtual interface is on another network than your real interface, 
you may also need to ad a routing table entry.
If it is on the same network, use a netmask of all 1's, and it should 
work i.e.:
ifconfig de0 inet 192.116.93.18 netmask 255.255.255.255 alias
