Hi Cort,

Don't worry about tackling the whole ports tree at once; it isn't going 
anywhere... (just install 'em as you need 'em.)

Some of the ones I've found useful are mutt, portsentry, jdk 1.1.8, gmake, 
emacs, cvsup, pureftpd, and whole host of others. (I just did a pkg_info and 
it really is too much to list.)
