Hi, i've tried to copy some files from one machine to another with the command: [root@freak distfiles]# scp alxkiste:/usr/ports/distfiles/rdate* . it says: root@alxkiste's password: scp: Command not found. freak is a redhat 5.2 box with ssh-1.2.22-6i (6 is rpm version, i for international i guess) alxkiste is freebsd 3.3-stable: uname -a FreeBSD alxkiste.freaknet.uhlennet.de 3.3-RELEASE FreeBSD 3.3-RELEASE #0: Thu Sep 16 23:40:35 GMT 1999 jkh@highwing.cdrom.com:/usr/src/sys/compile/GENERIC i386 It happens with both ssh and openssh. ssh2 is not installed After making a symlink /usr/bin/scp --> /usr/local/bin/scp it works. My question: Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong. I'm new to bsd, so i hope i don't waste your time asking a faq. alx To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
