I'm really keen to see a database of *bsd users and machines, what the
machines do, their uptimes, etc.

bsdcounter.org hasn't been fixed in six months.

If I build all the required php pages, database tables, and maintenance
scripts, is there room on the freebsd network to host it?

It'd only need a P200MMX with 64MB ram. I could have it done by the end of
the next week.

You could put a request out to all users, that, if they are permitted,
submit as much detail as possible, so we can get a better idea of how *bsd
is being used.

I'm not on the advocacy list, so please cc to me as well;-)

Nige.
