> INSTALLATION FAILURE OF FREEBSD WITH DOS FILE SYSTEM You give absolutely no version information with this report, giving me little clue as to which version of FreeBSD you're talking about (we've been around for 4 years and there are many releases now out there :). Try this with the 3.0 SNAP or 2.2-BETA releases at ftp.freebsd.org and you should have less trouble; there were some bugs fixed in the MSDOS installation which are probably responsible for your problem.
