A friend of mine cleaned that abomination known as Windows NT off his laptop (Gateway Solo 9100), and installed FBSD 3.1. Everything works dandy - I mean it screams, only problem is the NIC card (a 3com Megahertz 10/100+ 56k combo pcmcia card, model number 3CCFEM556B) is not a known device. Anyone have a clue for him? I would hate to see him jump back to... I don't even want to think about it. Thanks in advance.
