Knock, knock any PnP experts in the house?

Look guys, there is a ton of PnP hardware coming out so it is sort
of nice to start looking into PnP hardware configuration...

Linux has a PnP project for managing PnP devices, unfortunatly they 
are done yet so I have to ask around here.
