What's the difference between 4.8-RELEASE with patches and 4.8-RELEASE-p13= =20 anyway? > 4.x-STABLE? or is 4.9-RELEASE-RC2=20 I think 4.x-STABLE (e.g. what you would of got if you cvsup to RELENG_4 a f= ew=20 weeks ago) is currently tagged RC2. > good enough to consider using? Opinions appreciated. I can't think of many significant new things in 4.9 that are useful for=20 servers, so personally I'd rather stick with 4.8 which I know is solid. My= =20 server is running 4.8, and I don't plan on letting any newever version near= =20 it for a long time. That said I'm running 4.9-RC2 on my laptop and it's quite happy so far. =2D --=20 Cheers, Chris Howells -- chris@chrishowells.co.uk, howells@kde.org Web: http://chrishowells.co.uk, PGP ID: 0x33795A2C KDE/Qt/C++/PHP Developer: http://www.kde.org =2D----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE/kC/AF8Iu1zN5WiwRAuMAAJwLdL9KOgg7DGtbkYGo+OzQ4oON/gCfTffT 9qvHCxsl3cyB+IMMoETOAo0=3D =3DAMFf =2D----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
