Hello,

Does FreeBSD just support scsi transfers upto 80 Mb/s ? Or, does it
not yet support Ultra 160 ? Are Adaptec controllers better than
Symbios based ones ?

What I want to do is hook up a couple of Ultra 160 drives to my
machine@ I was looking at the Tekram DC 390 U3WD board ( dual channel
ultra 160 ) but am now not sure whether this is worth it. Should I go
for the Adaptec 390 board, or even go to a lesser Tekram board ?

Could someone advise me please ?
