The boot floppy that contains the kernel for FreeBSD 4.2-RELEASE does not seem to contain the NIC driver that I require for my NIC so I can do an FTP install. The question is as follows. Is there a way I can recompile the base kernel with support for my NIC, boot from that, and then do a clean install via FTP? Or is it a little more complicated? Impossible?
