Please try moving aside your old ~/.phoenix dir, as firefox sometimes
chokes over really old ones.

Also, if you have portupgrade installed, try 'portupgrade -Rf firefox' -
If you have firefox compiled with the WITH_XFT knob - you might also try
just to portupgrade libXft.
