Can it be fixed? ZIP drives are a bit trickier than CDs. First, make sure you own the mount point in question (i.e. /home/johnmary/zip) and that vfs.usermount=3D1. If that doesn't work, try changing the mount point to /mnt/zip, and see if that helps.
