If you SSH to the jail you get this when you try to make fetchindex: fetch: /var/ports/INDEX-8.bz2: open(): No such file or directory But is you jexec to the jail as root from the host then it fetches the index without any problems. It may be related to EzJail only because of the way it sets up the ports tree, the basejail and all that.
