Hello! I just installed 4.4 and was adding a user via the sysinstall interface, after I had typed in the password in the provided field I moved the cursor to the beginning to count the number of characters, making sure I entered it correctly, and as I moved the cursor forward, each character was displayed, the * changed into the character I had entered. I installed the latest stable, 4.4, the i386 platform. I'm not a list member, so if any additional info is needed, email me stuart@realhappy.net Thanks for a great OS!
