FYI here is my bsd make macro set http://www.berklix.com/~jhs/src/bsd/fixes/FreeBSD/src/jhs/share/mk/berklix2.mk (I just added support to generate pcl both via .ps & direct from .rof, as sometimes direct doesnt space properly. Here is a WYSIWYG set of patches for vi + groff ghostview chimera etc http://www.berklix.com/~jhs/src/bsd/fixes/FreeBSD/wysiwyg.shar.csh that let one edit groff in vi, & each :w causes a rebuild & redisplay.
