Hardware platform: Compaq DL360 with dual-cpus NIC: D-Link's DFE570TX (4-port nic, chipset Intel 21143) cvsup'd the src tree this morning(~2am CST), build a fresh world & kernels and installed them. When I use a non-smp kernel the dc driver & nic work fine. Initially reported to freebsd-stable. You can view the original post at: http://docs.freebsd.org/cgi/getmsg.cgi?fetch=252043+0+archive/2002/freebsd-stable/20020210.freebsd-stable I tried using the de driver for the nic(apparently fbsd-3.x uses that driver for those nics) but couldn't get any connectivity with either kernel(smp or non-smp). I'll try to find some time tonight to test the through-put of the D-Link card and let you know if I see any other oddities. Suggestions, comments, or ideas, please let me know.
