The two internal NIC's (bge1 & bge2) and a HP NC150T PCI NIC (bge0), are all running = fine. I have just pulled out the 1 port PCI NIC, and installed a HP 4 port = NIC. Interestingly, I found that only the first port on the NIC (BCM5705K - bge0), is recognised by FreeBSD. Surely, if it recognises one, it would recognise them all? Here is the dmesg NIC portion: pcib1: on motherboard pci1: on pcib1 bge0: mem 0xfeaf0000-0xfeafffff irq 3 at device 6.0 on pci1 bge0: Ethernet address: 00:11:85:12:ea:a9 miibus0: on bge0 brgphy0: on miibus0 brgphy0: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, 1000baseTX, 1000baseTX-FDX, auto pcib2: on motherboard pci2: on pcib2 bge1: mem 0xfebb0000-0xfebbffff,0xfebc0000-0xfebcffff irq 5 at device 0.0 on pci2 bge1: Ethernet address: 00:12:79:3d:73:de miibus1: on bge1 brgphy1: on miibus1 brgphy1: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, 1000baseTX, 1000baseTX-FDX, auto bge2: mem 0xfebe0000-0xfebeffff,0xfebf0000-0xfebfffff irq 11 at device 0.1 on pci2 bge2: Ethernet address: 00:12:79:3d:73:df miibus2: on bge2 brgphy2: on miibus2 brgphy2: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, 1000baseTX, 1000baseTX-FDX, auto Any idea why it doesn't recognise the other 3 ports of the PCI HP NC150T = NIC Cheers, Paul Hamilton
