So I heard that Windriver was bailing on it's participation in the
FreeBSD project, and well, OK. I was wondering what was to become
of the CDROM subscription I previously had.

Imagine my surprise when I get this email from bsdcentral.com telling
me that my credit card transaction didn't go though (because the
card expired last month). How on earth did these people get my
credit card number, I wonder? Did Windriver sell this publishing
business to bsdcentral.com, and did I miss the announcement? Even
in the case where they did, it's not at all clear that they
should have transferred that sort of data as part of the process.

And then I see the mail on freebsd-announce about daemon news
wanting to pick up and offer CD distributions.

Huh, says I.
