i have the k8v deluxe (not the SE board). it has the sk interface and ive had no issues with it. im running 5.2 current (amd64). ive downloaded large iso's, used cvsup (source and ports), installed ports/packages from the net without any problems. not near the machine so i dont recall the bios ver... by the way, great job with amd64. onboard usb works, firewire works, onboard sound works, will be trying the promise sata controller next week. ive looked in the archives and folks have had issues with burning cd's and other problems, i havent seen any yet. ive only had a problem with kde (3.2.3) -- konqueror crashing sometimes (havent looked into it too much yet)... Running 5.2.1, or CURRENT from today, the interface stops if you use CVSUP or NFS after a few seconds. I've also put the newest BIOS available on. Switch on the other end is a Summit Extreme 48.
