It certainly was 'make' tested.  The ppbus_if* stuff is handled by
bsd.kmod.mk.  If the build is using the wrong version somehow, that's a
build problem.  I have verified that the src/share/mk/bsd.kmod.mk in the
tree does build vpo on both x86 and Alpha.  If the build is using the stale
host files to build the kernel modules, complain to Marcel.
