Actually, much to my surprise, there's a serial connection on the back
of the thing. But no, no PS/2 connectors. Ane yes, it is very new. (I
just don't remember ever having a shakedown like this.)

No, it's a nine-pin. I remember the 25-pin connectors from my DEC
PDP-11 days when there weren't any mice and there was no graphical
display. And as I recall, they were labeled RS232C then, even if DEC
only used three of the pins.

But having been in and out of technology a couple times since then, I
never saw a 25-pin mouse connector. Wow!

Actually haven't seen a PS/2 connector for a while. Given the latest
hullabaloo about USB security issues, I wonder if they'll make a
comeback.
