I am attempting an installation using an MS-DOS partition.  Everything works
fine until the final steps when I get an error that reads "cannot locate
root image, please fix this problem and try again".

Any idea why this error occurs.  I have the files in a directory like this:

c:\FreeBSD\
          \bin
          \des
          \dict
          \floppies
          \games
etc, etc...

I am trying to install to D:

The boot manager works fine, F1 for DOS, F5 for disk 2
