Dear all,

please CC me as I am not subscribed.

As per JEP322 http://openjdk.java.net/jeps/322 , JRE and JDK are going
to be released in a strictly time-based fashion in the future, starting
with Java10 in March of this year and every 6 months after that.

As a Java user and developer on FreeBSD, I'd like to inquire how this
change will affect the FreeBSD ports. We currently have
java/openjdk[6,7,8] but do not have a java/openjdk9 port yet, which
reached general availability in September of last year.

Thanks,

Johannes
