Hello, I am looking for someone who is 'responsible' for the lnc network driver and/or who knows, how to enable the multicast support for it. It is already partially enabled by defining LNC_MULTICAST, but the reception of multicast packets still seems to be impossible. The problem: we run a PCI-Ethernet adapter and want to test the IPv6 Implementation currently available from KAME. lnc1: <PCNet/PCI Ethernet adapter> rev 0x25 int a irq 18 on pci0.17.0 lnc1: PCnet-FAST address 00:60:b0:??:??:?? Since IPv6 relies on Multicast (Address configuration) IPv6 is usable only if the interface is set into promiscuous mode (e.g. by tcpdump) I would be happy if someone could help!
