I would not enable the build and install by default. This is so special that 90% of the people don't need it. I thought of making an extra tarball with just these binaries in it at the moment i get it running or hear from someone who got it running. The programs will now install, but some man pages needs an update. It looks like the reset program ( rst ) does a reset of the hardware and the debug output program give me some info, but the load of the card fails with an error very early in the game. It tries to download the first module out of 12 to the integrated Motorola 68340? prozessor. It seems the firmware that gets delivered with the cards has changed alot from the time this was last tested up to now. Or the download images that need to be used are not the one from the DOS floppy. The shell-scripts are pointing to an /isdn/lib dir that is nowhere populated. I am also not sure if i like the path. That is also one unresolved problem, where do we want to put up the firmware code for all these downloadable cards ? Jordan, do you remember where you get this software from ? I have now two nic3009 cards to test it out :-). I also have two ELSA ISDN Modems that i use daily ( 1TR6 ) and a Teles ISDN 16-bit card for testing ISDN lines :-). Need to check if Zyxel can now deliver their ISDN modems.
