The blob does not generally use FreeBSD-specific structures. Part of the driver is source and that interfaces with FreeBSD's APIs to implement shims for the APIs used by the blob. Thus, the same blob is used for all OS versions, it is only the wrapper shims (for which we have source) which are subject to ABI concerns. -- John Baldwin
