I've got two machines running QPopper 2.53. One machine is running 3.2-RELEASE, and the other is running an April 1st 4.0-CURRENT (for reasons unknown to me, but I can't change it.) Occassionally some users will call in and say that they can't get their mail via POP. So, I check /var/spool, and for some reason, their mail file has changed to a *directory*. This directory is empty, but has the same permissions and ownership as the mail spool file. Checking /var/log/syslog provides no clues. Anyone else seen this? And while we're on the subject, I'm looking for an IMAP/POP server that will easily integrate with sendmail for purposes of virtual users and spam control. Anyone have any suggestions? -- Matthew Emmerton || matt@gsicomp.on.ca GSI Computer Services || P: +1 (800) 217-5409 (Canada) Technical Director || F: +1 (519) 335-6584 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
