When trying to install FreeBSD 4.1 using the two Install-Disks (kern and =
mfsroot), my system crashes. First, everything looks just fine, i can =
boot the first (kern) disk, and then, after the mfsroot-disk is loaded, =
i get a message like "Booting kernel in 10secs, press Enter". When I =
then press Enter, i first get this "busy" symbol for 2-3 seconds, and =
then the system stops to react. The system configuration : P120MHz, 64MB =
RAM, 1.6Gb Maxtor HD, some no-name motherboard. I tried the whole thing =
on a other system (PII-400), and it worked without problems.

Anybody got an idea what could be wrong ?

Thanks for helping.
Stefan Pfenninger
