I have the same problem, when booting from the CD. I tried booting with "boot -v" and it gives me some additional lines: Mounting root from ufs:/dev/md0c md0: invalid primary partition table: no magic start_init: trying /sbin/init start_init: trying /sbin/oinit start_init: trying /sbin/init.bak start_init: trying /sbin/sysinstall Another "boot -v" message I get is "device configuration doesn't support shared irq0". I have no idea if that message is related to the problem though. The computer is a Pentium 233 MMX with a Realtek network card, and an "Ati Mach64-CT" graphics card.
