:> to mention the manual page. :>=20 :> I think it's best to document the most important features in the :> Makefile since it's the first place people will look. :>=20 :Why you think that TARGET_ARCH is so important? Most users do not :need it. I personally would prefer it if src/Makefile would just :refer to the build(7) manpage. : : :Cheers, :--=20 :Ruslan Ermilov Sysadmin and DBA, I consider anything that takes me more then 10 minutes to figure out to be a documentation issue. Since there is no reason to intentionally make things more difficult for developers, I try to document those cases after I've figured out how to use them. A major goal of the project is to make things as easy as possible for developers and users. I do not see it written anywhere that we should only document the lowest-common-denominator set of things we think user will use. I see no reason to intentionally obscure this feature especially if we want to promote non-i386 architectures. -Matt To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
