I was working on 3.4-stable #1. When I finished making the kernel, with 'by
the book' procedures from http://www.freebsd.org/handbook. I did modify
the kernel before i did /usr/sbin/config mykernel, I selected only the
i586 type of CPU and commented out the others. After doing fast boot, I ran
into the following:

CPU: Pentium II/Xeon/Celeron (unknown class CPU)

panic: CPU class not configured

I did keep a copy of my old kernel. But, I can't seen to get it to boot to
it.

tnx so much,

Michael Morgan
