LDFLAGS here overrides anything from the port's Makefile. Use something
like:

post-patch:
	@${REINPLACE_CMD} -e 's/^LDFLAGS=3D/LDFLAGS+=3D/' ${WRKSRC}/Makefile

Is LDFLAGS actually referenced elsewhere in the Makefile / other
Makefiles?
