I am running FreeBSD 2.2.2-RELEASE and have tried installing both versions of the GIMP package included with my FreeBSD 2.2.2 CDs (gimp-0.54.1 and gimp-0.99.9). The 0.99.9 version core-dumps before it even puts a window on the screen. The 0.54.1 version core-dumps when I try to create a new image (open FILE menu, choose NEW). Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is there a solution to this? Thanks, Jesse Troy jtroy@vt.edu
