FreeBSD 9870-FWL002.pclender.com 7.2-RELEASE-p4 FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE-p4 #0: Wed Nov 18 13:00:22 PST 2009 root@9870-FWL002.pclender.com:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/FWL002 i386
>Description:
When you issue a 'reboot' or 'shutdown -r', upon rebooting, you receive the following error and the NICs pass no traffic.

kernel: bce1: /usr/src/sys/dev/bce/if_bce.c(1386); Unable to write CTX memory: cid_addr = 0x00000800, offset = 0x00000080!
kernel: bce1: /usr/src/sys/dev/bce/if_bce.c(1386); Unable to write CTX memory: cid_addr = 0x00000800, offset = 0x00000240!

The cid_addr is always the same and the offset changes for each message.

>How-To-Repeat:
'reboot' or 'shutdown -r'
>Fix:
If you 'shutdown -h' and power cycle the machine the NIC will work again until a soft reboot is performed.
