Just a quick note about a problem I had with building qt-2.2.3_3.

I had installed ports from the FreeBSD 4.2 CD, and updated the ports
collection using cvsup. When I attempted a build of qt, it failed saying
that patch-ae had been improperly applied. From the files list on the
FreeBSD site, I noticed that this patch was not current, so I removed it
from my disk. The build then completed without incident, and qt appears to
work.

My best guess is that cvsup is failing to delete the patch-ae file.

Best regards

JM
