I have tested this some, but it probably has bugs. http://pigseye.kennesaw.edu/~dyeske/freebsd/patch-src_contrib_cvs I have also tried modifying the HEAD branch of cvs/ccvs from cvshome, but it seems to blow away the $FreeBSD$ tag with or without my patch.
