Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-questions@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Don't know if this is the right place to ask. I looked in the archives, and all I saw was another user asking the same question around Feb, with no responses. Any idea where this animal is? I'm trying to build a shared lib like so: cc -O -fPIC --shared -o libconquest.so blah.o blah2.o ...etc I get: ld: No reference to __DYNAMIC Is there some 'stub' object that needs to be supplied? This command works fine under linux. I'm using fbsd 2.2, with gcc 2.7.2. (I tried gcc 2.6.3 (the one shipped with this fbsd), same result. I will summarize to this list (provided I get some info ;-). -- Jon Trulson work: jon@xinside.com, home: jon@radscan.com PGP ID: 1A9A2B09, Fingerprint: C23F328A721264E7 B6188192EC733962 PGP public key at finger:trulson@rainbow.rmii.com or keyserver We are Grey.
