I don't think I can put 100% of the credit on this patch, but I did update -current two days ago (r218708) and for the first time in a long long time I can: - - exit Xorg to the console - - unload radeon.ko/drm.ko - - start Xorg again and not have the OS/machine hardlock requiring a powercycle. I still get ocassional screen corruption when scrolling, but usually only when the linux-flash plugin is embeded in a page. - -Mark -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.17 (FreeBSD) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk1dQskACgkQrDN5kXnx8yY3vACcClaJeFBFobkjQk+uVsSfi+Wg 6vcAnAvX3EMeWXB6sIgYcQvGT9C9Srae =ua6o -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
