Subject:   wdtimeout() DMA status 1

I just upgraded to 3.1-RELEASE and built a new kernel and I'm getting
an error:

Mar 29 11:29:25 gateway /kernel: wd2: interrupt timeout (status
50<rdy,seekdone> error 1<no_dam>)
Mar 29 11:29:25 gateway /kernel: wd2: wdtimeout() DMA status 1<active>

I enable DMA in the flags of wdc0 and wdc1, so I know how to make the
errors go away, (just disable that flag so I don't use DMA).

But the odd thing is that wd2 is the only UDMA capable drive on the
system, and both the other drives have DMA enabled via the flags, but
neither gives me the error.

Is this simply a matter of trying to enable DMA in BIOS?

It eventually gave me:
Mar 29 11:31:11 gateway /kernel: wd2: Last time I say: interrupt
timeout. Probably a portable PC. (status 50<rdy,seekdone> error
1<no_dam>)

From dmesg:
wdc0 at 0x1f0-0x1f7 irq 14 flags 0xa0ffa0ff on isa
