A 'bug' was introduced at the very last minute which causes this to
occur.  Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for it at this time, but
suffice it to say that it's a known bug.  If you can get a different
ethernet card you should be able to install FreeBSD correctly, and
hopefully a patch will be made available to fix the bug.
