I installed FreeBSD 2.2.2 on a pentium 166 with 32 megs of ram. I have
two
IDE hard drives with FerrBSD on the second one. When I try to recompile
the kernel it stops at:

loading kernel
rearranging symbols
text data bss dec hex
856064 57344 75680 989088 f17a0
chflags noschg /kernel
chflags: /kernel: no such file or directory
*** Error code 1

Stop.

Do you know what I can do to get around this problem?

Thanks in advance
