Solid state and high energy.

So far the high energy is mostly theoretical... zoning laws.  ;-).

It's funny that at many universities, if you take a statistics class
in addition to the other math classes required for a theoretical
physics degree, you get an applied math degree for free.  There is
something strange about theoretical physics being nearly identical
to applied math.  One has to wonder hard about math theorists...
