It took me longer than most to agree to this viewpoint, but I do now.
Yes, it's a good idea to have an architectural board, but why should
it be less than the committers as a whole?  That's my understanding of
why we have -core: let the committers fight it out, and as long as
they finally come to a conclusion about the colour of the bikeshed,
there is no need for -core to be involved.  I think that -committers
are, on the whole, sensible enough to recognize who the leader are in
a specific area.
