However, quitting any program ("File -> Exit", clicking the close button in the title bar, etc) causes it to crash, bringing up the KDE Crash Handler. The app (Konq, kghostview, ark, ...) "crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV)" according to the crash handler.
