The best idea I've come up with so far is to have a .htaccess file in the root of the web server tree that issues permanent redirects from /handbook/ and /FAQ/ to the appropriate directory under /doc/... The symlinks can remain for the time being, but we should aim to nuke those as well. Any thoughts? Perhaps someone can knock up a quick proof of concept?
